Little Refugee brings art and craft workshops to young refugees living in camps and host communities — a safe hour a week to paint, build, and simply be a kid again. We reach out to young refugees in urban centres and in the refugee camps.
Displacement asks a lot of a child. Little Refugee gives them something back — an hour of paper, paint, and thread where the only job is to make something. Facilitators are trained in trauma-aware, play-based art methods, and every session is designed alongside the families and camp partners we work with.
Every workshop ends the same way — artwork pegged up to dry, and a room full of proud small artists. This is a small window into that wall.
